Aaron Reardon (politician)
Aaron Reardon (born December 24, 1971) is an American politician from Washington state. He served as the Snohomish County Executive from 2004 to 2013.
Prior to becoming County Executive, Reardon served in the Washington State Senate representing the 38th Legislative District from 1996 to 2004. He was the youngest person ever elected to the State Senate at the time of his election. Before serving in the Senate, he was a member of the Washington House of Representatives from 1993 to 1996, also representing the 38th District.
Reardon resigned from his position as Snohomish County Executive in May 2013 amidst controversy surrounding his use of public funds and allegations of inappropriate relationships with county employees. An investigation by the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission found violations of state campaign finance laws.
