Andrew Campbell (ice hockey)
Andrew Campbell (born September 4, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He last played for Adler Mannheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
Playing Career:
Campbell was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 3rd round (74th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to being drafted, Campbell played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
He began his professional career within the Los Angeles Kings organization, primarily playing for their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. Campbell was eventually traded to the Florida Panthers in 2012.
Throughout his career, Campbell has also played in the AHL for the Portland Pirates and the Toronto Marlies. He was a key member of the Toronto Marlies team that won the Calder Cup in 2018.
In 2019, Campbell signed with Adler Mannheim in the DEL. He played for Mannheim until his retirement.
