Mokówko
Mokówko is a district (dzielnica) of the city of Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the southern part of the city. Historically, Mokówko was originally a separate village that was gradually incorporated into Warsaw. It is characterized by a mix of residential areas, industrial zones, and green spaces, including the notable park, Park Morskie Oko. The name "Mokówko" is believed to derive from the word "mokry," meaning wet, referring to the area's past as a swampy or waterlogged location. Key features of Mokówko include its proximity to the Royal Łazienki Park and the Wilanów district, and its developing infrastructure making it a significant part of the Warsaw metropolitan area.
