Scott Fitzgerald (footballer, born 1979)

Scott Fitzgerald (born 30 July 1979) is a former professional footballer. A defender, he played primarily in the Scottish League.

Fitzgerald began his career with Dundee United, making a number of appearances before moving on to other Scottish clubs. His career included spells with Partick Thistle, where he made a significant number of appearances, and Airdrie United. He also played for Brechin City and Alloa Athletic.

Throughout his career, Fitzgerald established himself as a reliable defender known for his commitment and work ethic. He retired from professional football in the early 2010s.
