Mike Stewart (politician)

Mike Stewart is a Canadian politician and lawyer. He served as a City Councillor for the City of Vancouver from 2018 to 2022.

Stewart holds a law degree and practiced law before entering municipal politics. He was elected in the 2018 Vancouver municipal election as part of the Vision Vancouver party. During his time on council, his priorities included affordable housing, tenant protections, and environmental sustainability. He often advocated for policies aimed at increasing housing density and streamlining the development process.

In the 2022 Vancouver municipal election, Stewart ran for re-election but was unsuccessful. He continues to be involved in community advocacy and legal work. His political involvement focused on urban planning and social justice issues within the City of Vancouver.
