Carnivore (band)

Carnivore was an American thrash metal band formed in New York City in 1982. Carnivore was founded by Peter Steele, who later achieved greater fame as the frontman for Type O Negative. The band's original lineup also included Louie Beatoff on guitar, Paul Di Gioia on bass and Anthony "A.J." Novello on drums. They released two studio albums, Carnivore (1985) and Retribution (1987), before disbanding.
