Scott Fitzgerald (footballer, born 1969)

Scott Fitzgerald (born 16 November 1969) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Fitzgerald began his career with Wimbledon, making his debut in the Football League in the 1987-88 season. He was part of the "Crazy Gang" Wimbledon team that famously won the 1988 FA Cup against Liverpool, although he was not in the matchday squad.

He went on to make a limited number of appearances for Wimbledon before moving to Millwall. Fitzgerald then played for Brentford before finishing his professional career.

After retiring from professional football, Fitzgerald remained involved in the sport, often coaching at the youth level. His contributions at youth level have been widely regarded as developing youth footballers.
