Stefkowa

Stefkowa is a historical Polish village, located in the former Stanisławów Voivodeship (now Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine). It was completely destroyed during World War II, specifically in 1944, as part of ethnic cleansing operations. The Polish inhabitants were murdered by Ukrainian nationalists belonging to the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). The village no longer exists. The events at Stefkowa are considered part of the wider Volhynian and Eastern Galicia massacres.
