Mathieu Blanchette (computational biologist)

Mathieu Blanchette is a Canadian computational biologist and professor in the School of Computer Science at McGill University. He is known for his research in the areas of comparative genomics, regulatory genomics, and bioinformatics algorithm development.

Blanchette's research focuses on developing and applying computational methods to understand the evolution and function of genomes. This includes work on sequence alignment, motif discovery, phylogenetic analysis, and the prediction of gene regulatory networks.
