The Method (TV series)

The Method is a South Korean television series broadcast on the tvN network in 2020. It is directed by Kim Yong-wan and stars Uhm Ji-won, Sung Dong-il, and Jo Min-soo.

The series follows a reporter who investigates a mysterious company known as Forest, which is associated with occult practices and spiritual consultations. The reporter, Im Jin-hee (played by Uhm Ji-won), uncovers a complex web of secrets and conspiracies as she delves deeper into Forest's activities. She is assisted by a former shaman, Jo Min-soo, who possesses unique insights into the spiritual realm. Sung Dong-il portrays the chairman of Forest, Jin Jong-hyun, a figure shrouded in ambiguity and suspected involvement in the company's dubious practices.

The Method explores themes of shamanism, corporate corruption, and the blurring lines between belief and manipulation. The narrative unfolds through a suspenseful and often unsettling atmosphere, highlighting the potential dangers of unchecked power and the exploitation of faith.
