Bondarenko (crater)
Bondarenko is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the southwest of the prominent crater Gagarin, and to the northeast of the Mare Ingenii.
This crater is heavily eroded, and the outer rim is significantly worn and rounded. Several smaller craters lie across the rim and the interior walls. The largest of these is a craterlet along the eastern rim edge. The interior floor is somewhat uneven, with a few minor craters marking the surface. The crater lacks a central peak.
Due to its location on the far side, Bondarenko is not directly visible from Earth and can only be observed from orbiting spacecraft.
