James Pollock (artist)

James Pollock (born 1950) is an American artist known primarily for his work in abstract painting and mixed media collage. His work often incorporates elements of chance and experimentation, exploring themes of process, materiality, and the relationship between control and improvisation.

Pollock received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He has exhibited his work extensively in galleries and museums across the United States and internationally.
