Bob Engel

Bob Engel is an American computer scientist and engineer known for his contributions to the development of the Macintosh computer at Apple. He was a member of the original Macintosh team and played a key role in the hardware design, particularly the display subsystem and video circuitry. Engel also contributed significantly to the early development of QuickDraw, the graphics library that was fundamental to the Macintosh's graphical user interface. He is credited with innovations in memory management and improving the overall performance and efficiency of the Macintosh system.
