Aireon
Aireon is a company providing global, space-based Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) data for air traffic surveillance. It uses a network of ADS-B receivers hosted as secondary payloads on the Iridium NEXT satellite constellation. This allows for real-time aircraft tracking over oceanic, polar, and remote regions where traditional ground-based radar is unavailable.
