Oka (Angara)

The Oka is a river in Siberia, Russia. It is a left tributary of the Angara River. The Oka flows through the Irkutsk Oblast and Buryatia. The river is approximately 630 kilometers (390 miles) long, and its drainage basin covers 34,000 square kilometers (13,000 sq mi). The Oka is used for rafting timber and for fishing. Its name likely derives from an Evenki word meaning "river."
