Werbomont

Werbomont is a village located in the municipality of Ferrières, in the province of Liège, Belgium. It is situated in the Ardennes region.

Werbomont is primarily known for its association with the Circuit de Stavelot, a former motor racing circuit. Although the more famous part of the circuit was located near Stavelot and Spa, the "Werbomont corner" was a significant section of the old track. This corner was known for being a very fast and challenging curve, requiring considerable skill and bravery from drivers. The original Circuit de Stavelot was shortened and rerouted in 1979, bypassing the village and the Werbomont corner to enhance safety.

The village itself is a rural community with agricultural activities. The area is also popular for tourism, offering opportunities for hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Ardennes.
