Eric Campbell (baseball)

Eric Campbell (born April 9, 1987) is an American former professional baseball infielder and outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets.

Campbell attended Boston College, where he played college baseball for the Eagles. He was drafted by the Mets in the eighth round of the 2008 MLB draft.

He made his MLB debut with the Mets on May 10, 2014. Throughout his time with the Mets, Campbell was known for his versatility, playing multiple positions including first base, third base, and outfield. He was often utilized as a utility player coming off the bench.

Campbell's tenure with the Mets concluded after the 2016 season. He subsequently played in the minor leagues for other organizations before retiring from professional baseball.
