Stockdorf

Stockdorf is a village and part of the municipality of Gauting in the district of Starnberg, Upper Bavaria, Germany. It is located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Munich.

Historically, Stockdorf has been shaped by agriculture, but its proximity to Munich has led to its development as a residential area. It benefits from a good connection to Munich via the S-Bahn (suburban train) line S6.
