Diego Rodriguez (Arizona politician)

Diego Rodriguez is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives representing District 27 since 2023. Prior to his legislative service, Rodriguez served as the Maricopa County Recorder. He was appointed to the position by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in February 2023 following the resignation of Adrian Fontes, who became Arizona's Secretary of State. Rodriguez then won a special election in November 2023 to retain the seat for the remainder of the term. He resigned from the recorder position after his election to the state House. Rodriguez is an attorney by profession and resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
