A45 road

The A45 is a major road in England, linking Northampton to Felixstowe. It is a significant east-west route across the Midlands, connecting several major towns and cities.

The road's route passes through or near Wellingborough, Thrapston, Raunds, Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Northampton, and Coventry before continuing into Suffolk and terminating at Felixstowe.

The A45 has seen significant improvements and bypasses constructed over the years to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in urban areas. Some sections of the original route have been renumbered or downgraded following the construction of these new roads.
