Jim Reid (Canadian football)

Jim Reid (born c. 1957) is a former professional Canadian football player. He played as a defensive back in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Reid played university football for the Western Mustangs, winning the Vanier Cup in 1976. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the first round of the 1979 CFL Draft. He played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1979-1983) and the Calgary Stampeders (1984-1986). He was a CFL All-Star in 1981. Reid was known for his tackling and pass coverage skills. After his playing career, he worked in the finance industry.
