John Moore (photographer)

John Moore is an American photojournalist known for his coverage of conflict, poverty, and political issues around the world. He is a Senior Staff Photographer and Special Correspondent for Getty Images, a role he has held since 2005.

Moore is particularly recognized for his extensive work documenting the Iraq War, the Ebola epidemic in Liberia, and the ongoing refugee crisis at the US-Mexico border. His photograph of a crying Honduran girl at the border, which became a symbol of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy, garnered widespread attention and sparked international debate.
