Billy Brown (footballer, born 1950)
Billy Brown (born 1950) is a former Scottish professional footballer. Brown played primarily as a full-back.
Brown began his senior career with Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Second Division. His performances there earned him a transfer to Premier Division side Dundee. He played for Dundee from 1973 to 1979, becoming a mainstay in their defence.
After leaving Dundee, Brown joined Montrose, where he spent several seasons before retiring from professional football.
