GLC (rapper)

GLC (born Leonard Harris, Jr.) is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his affiliation with Kanye West's GOOD Music label and for his membership in the Chicago hip-hop collective, The Go Getters.

GLC initially gained recognition through his appearances on Kanye West's early mixtapes and albums, most notably on the tracks "Spaceship" from The College Dropout and "Drive Slow" from Late Registration. His distinct baritone voice and street-oriented lyrics contributed to the overall sound of West's early work.

In 2010, GLC signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music label and released his debut album, Love, Life & Loyalty. The album featured guest appearances from Kanye West, T-Pain, and Consequence. While he has released further mixtapes and projects independently, Love, Life & Loyalty remains his most commercially successful release.

GLC's lyrical content typically focuses on themes of street life, hustling, and the realities of growing up in Chicago. His music often incorporates elements of soul and gospel, reflecting his upbringing and personal experiences. He is considered a respected figure within the Chicago hip-hop scene and continues to create and release music.
