Crash! (manga)
Crash! is a shojo manga series written and illustrated by Yuka Fujiwara. It was serialized in the Japanese manga magazine Ribon from 2007 to 2013.
The story revolves around Hana Yosano, a cheerful and energetic high school student who accidentally becomes involved with a group of seven popular and talented boys, collectively known as the Crashers, who are managed by the powerful Kirishima Agency. Each Crasher specializes in a different area of entertainment, such as acting, singing, dancing, and modeling.
Hana's initial involvement stems from her clumsy attempts to help her childhood friend, Akira, who is secretly a Crasher. She is then unexpectedly scouted by the Kirishima Agency to become their assistant, despite lacking any prior experience in the entertainment industry.
The manga follows Hana's journey as she navigates the complexities of the entertainment world, learns to support the Crashers, and gradually develops romantic feelings for one of them. It blends elements of comedy, romance, and slice-of-life, focusing on the relationships between the characters and the challenges they face.
Key themes explored in Crash! include friendship, perseverance, the pursuit of dreams, and the struggles of fame and popularity. The series is known for its lighthearted tone, dynamic characters, and the cute and expressive art style typical of shojo manga.
The manga has been licensed for English-language release in North America by Viz Media.
