Jerry Hill (American football)

Jerry Hill (born July 20, 1939) is a former American football running back who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL).

Hill played college football at Wyoming, where he was a standout player and earned All-American honors. He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the second round of the 1961 NFL Draft.

Hill played his entire 10-year NFL career (1961-1970) with the Colts. He was a key contributor to the Colts' offense, known for his toughness, blocking ability, and reliable running. Hill was a member of the Colts team that won the NFL Championship in 1968, although they subsequently lost Super Bowl III to the New York Jets. He also played in Super Bowl V, where the Colts defeated the Dallas Cowboys.

After retiring from professional football, Hill remained involved in the sport in various capacities.
