Ibis Dam
The Ibis Dam is a roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It serves as a key component of the West Pilbara Water Supply Scheme, managed by the Water Corporation. The primary purpose of Ibis Dam is to supply industrial water to resource projects in the region, particularly iron ore mining operations. Its construction was completed in 2011. The dam impounds water from the Harding River and contributes significantly to water security for the surrounding industry.
