Justin Morgan (rugby league)
Justin Morgan (born 23 September 1975) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. As a player, he primarily played hooker. He is best known for his coaching roles with the Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League and later, the Canberra Raiders in the National Rugby League (NRL).
Morgan began his playing career in the NRL with the Parramatta Eels in 1997. He also played for the Auckland Warriors and the Canberra Raiders before moving to the Super League.
In the Super League, Morgan played for the Warrington Wolves and the Widnes Vikings. He was noted for his skillful play and leadership qualities on the field.
Following his playing career, Morgan transitioned into coaching. He achieved considerable success as the head coach of Hull Kingston Rovers from 2006 to 2012, leading them to promotion from the National League One to the Super League and establishing them as a competitive team in the top tier. He was known for his ability to develop young players and build a strong team culture.
After leaving Hull Kingston Rovers, Morgan returned to the NRL as an assistant coach with the Canberra Raiders. He has since held various coaching and development roles within the sport.
