Sacatra

Sacatra is a small, now uninhabited island located off the northeast coast of Madagascar. It forms part of the larger Antongil Bay. The island's name may be spelled variously, including Sakatia or Sacatia, though Sacatra appears to be the older, possibly original, form. Historically, Sacatra served as a trading post and was significant during periods of conflict in the region.
