John Devine (footballer, born 1935)

John Devine (born 24 July 1935) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside forward.

Devine began his career with Glenafton Athletic before moving to English club Coventry City in 1957. He made over 100 league appearances for Coventry, scoring a number of goals. He then moved back to Scotland and played for Dundee United from 1963 to 1965, contributing to their Scottish First Division campaign.

Following his time with Dundee United, he played for Brechin City. His career spanned over a decade and involved several teams in both Scotland and England.
