Joe Nice

Joe Nice is a Baltimore, Maryland-based DJ and producer recognized as a pioneering figure in the development and popularization of dubstep music in North America. He is widely considered one of the first North American DJs to champion the genre, predating its mainstream explosion in the late 2000s.

Nice is known for his deep crates of vinyl records and digital music, meticulously curated over many years. His sets are characterized by a focus on the darker, more underground sounds of dubstep, often featuring heavy basslines, intricate percussion, and atmospheric soundscapes.
