Dick Weik

Dick Weik (born Richard Weik, October 25, 1934 - November 30, 2012) was an American basketball player. A 6'4" guard/forward, Weik played college basketball at the University of Maryland.

Weik was a member of the 1959 U.S. Pan American Games team that won a gold medal. He was selected by the Rochester Royals with the 10th pick in the 1959 NBA draft. He played one season in the NBA for the Boston Celtics during the 1960-61 season, appearing in 21 games and winning a championship ring. After his brief NBA career, Weik worked in the insurance industry.
