Geo-Force

Geo-Force, also known as Prince Brion Markov, is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He is a founding member of the superhero team the Outsiders.

Fictional Character Biography

Brion Markov is the Prince of Markovia, a small Balkan nation. He gained his superpowers through an experimental procedure conducted by Dr. Helga Jace, designed to give him the ability to defend his country. The procedure granted Brion the ability to control the earth's tectonic forces, allowing him to manipulate earth, lava, and minerals. He also possesses superhuman strength, stamina, and durability.

Upon gaining his powers, Brion adopted the superhero identity of Geo-Force, donning a costume typically consisting of a yellow and brown color scheme. He left Markovia to gain experience using his abilities and to fight for justice on a larger scale.

Powers and Abilities

Geo-Force's primary power is geokinesis, the ability to control earth, lava, and minerals. This allows him to generate earthquakes, manipulate terrain, create rock constructs, and propel himself through the air by manipulating the earth beneath him. He also has superhuman strength, stamina, and durability, making him resistant to physical injury. He can also generate a "lava form" where his body is covered in molten rock, greatly increasing his strength and durability.

Affiliations

Geo-Force is best known for his association with the Outsiders, a team of superheroes formed by Batman. He has also been affiliated with other DC Comics teams and organizations throughout his publication history.

Relationships

Brion has notable familial relationships within the DC Universe. His sister is Terra, a character with similar geokinetic powers who initially posed as a hero before betraying the Teen Titans. He also has a half-brother, Gregor, who has held political power in Markovia.
