George Bissett (cricketer)

George Bissett (born 26 May 1907, date of death unknown) was a Scottish cricketer.

Bissett was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He played first-class cricket for Scotland between 1932 and 1938. He made his debut against Ireland in Dublin, scoring 21 and 16. His highest first-class score was 63, made against Lancashire in 1934. He also took 5 wickets for 71 runs against the same opposition in the same match, his best bowling figures. In total, Bissett played 11 first-class matches, scoring 300 runs at an average of 15.00 and taking 15 wickets at an average of 38.46.
