Barzago
Barzago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Milan and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,451 and an area of 3.6 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi).
Barzago borders the following comuni: Barzanò, Bulciago, Cremella, Dolzago, Garbagnate Monastero, Sirone, Castello di Brianza. The economy is primarily agricultural, with some small industries. The patron saint of Barzago is Saint Salvatore. The annual festival is held on August 6.
