Nepisiguit (electoral district)

Nepisiguit was a provincial electoral district in New Brunswick, Canada. It existed from 1967 to 1994.

History and Boundaries:

The electoral district of Nepisiguit was created in 1967 from portions of the former Gloucester County district. It was located in the northern part of the province, encompassing areas along the Nepisiguit River. Throughout its existence, the boundaries remained relatively consistent, though minor adjustments were made to account for population shifts during redistricting exercises.

Representation:

Nepisiguit elected one Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick. The riding primarily voted for candidates from the Progressive Conservative and Liberal parties.
