William Drury Lowe (landowner, born 1753)

William Drury Lowe (1753-1827) was an English landowner and High Sheriff of Derbyshire. He was a member of the Drury Lowe family, a prominent family in Derbyshire with extensive land holdings.

Born in 1753, he was the son of Reverend Thomas Lowe and Lucy, daughter of William Drury. He inherited Locko Park, the family seat near Spondon, Derbyshire.

Drury Lowe served as High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1777. He was actively involved in managing his estates and appears in historical records related to local administration and affairs.

He married Hester Plumptre, daughter of Reverend Francis Plumptre, in 1783. They had several children, including William Drury Lowe (1786-1858) who succeeded him.
