National Botanical Gardens (Uganda)

The National Botanical Gardens (Uganda), located in Entebbe, Uganda, are a prominent center for botanical research, conservation, and education. Established in 1898 by the British colonial government, the gardens are situated on the northern shores of Lake Victoria and cover approximately 40 hectares (100 acres).
