Magreglio

Magreglio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region of Lombardy. It is located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 600 and an area of 6.0 square kilometres (2.3 sq mi).

Magreglio borders the following municipalities: Barni, Bellagio, Civenna, Oliveto Lario, Sormano, Varenna.

The Madonna del Ghisallo, a shrine dedicated to cyclists, is located in Magreglio. It is a popular destination for cyclists and cycling enthusiasts, and is often included in the route of the Giro d'Italia. The Museo del Ciclismo Madonna del Ghisallo (Cycling Museum) is also located there.
