John Dorney (hurler)

John Dorney is an Irish hurler who played as a left corner-back for the Offaly senior team.

Dorney played club hurling for Tullamore.

He first appeared for Offaly at minor level and progressed through the under-21 ranks before joining the senior team. He won a Leinster Senior Hurling Championship medal with Offaly in 1998. Dorney also represented Ireland in the composite rules Shinty/Hurling international series.
