Heenweg
Heenweg is a town in the municipality of Westland, in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. It is located about 5 km southwest of The Hague.
Historically, Heenweg was an independent municipality until 2004, when it was merged into the municipality of Westland. The town is primarily known for its horticultural activities, particularly greenhouse agriculture, which is a dominant industry in the Westland region.
While relatively small, Heenweg contributes significantly to the Dutch agricultural sector. Its location within the Westland area, a major center for greenhouse horticulture, provides it with access to resources and infrastructure that support this industry.
