Uhrsleben
Uhrsleben is a village and a former municipality in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Erxleben. Uhrsleben is located approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Magdeburg.
The history of Uhrsleben can be traced back several centuries. The village's name is believed to have Germanic origins. Throughout its history, Uhrsleben has been primarily an agricultural community. The landscape surrounding the village is characterized by fertile plains and fields.
Until its incorporation into Erxleben, Uhrsleben had its own local government and administration. The local economy is primarily based on agriculture and related industries. The village also benefits from its proximity to larger towns and cities, allowing residents to commute for work or access services.
Uhrsleben, like many similar villages in the region, is experiencing demographic changes, including a gradual decline in population. Efforts are being made to preserve the village's cultural heritage and promote sustainable development.
