Steven Price (composer)

Steven Price (born 22 April 1977) is a British composer best known for his film scores. He won the Academy Award for Best Original Score for his work on the 2013 film Gravity.

Price began his career as a music editor, contributing to films such as Batman Begins, Shaun of the Dead, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. He transitioned to composing, initially working on smaller projects and television shows.

His breakthrough as a composer came with his score for Joe Cornish's Attack the Block in 2011. Following this, he composed the score for Gravity, which garnered widespread critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe nomination.
