Chuck Harrison (baseball)
Charles "Chuck" Harrison (born April 16, 1942) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies (1963-1965), Pittsburgh Pirates (1968), and Atlanta Braves (1969).
Harrison was signed by the Phillies as an amateur free agent in 1960. He made his major league debut at the age of 21 with the Phillies in 1963, appearing in 17 games. He was primarily a relief pitcher throughout his career.
His most active season was in 1964, where he pitched 29 games with a 3.26 ERA for the Phillies. He pitched a total of 85 major league games across his four seasons. After his time with the Phillies, he spent time in the minor leagues before returning to the majors with the Pirates in 1968 and Braves in 1969. His career MLB record consists of 3 wins and 5 losses with an ERA of 4.04. Following his playing career, Harrison remained involved in baseball, coaching youth leagues.
