DutchBird

DutchBird was a Dutch charter airline based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It operated flights to various holiday destinations, primarily in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and North Africa. The airline's main hub was Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

DutchBird was founded in 2000 and ceased operations in December 2004 after declaring bankruptcy. The airline's fleet consisted primarily of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The bankruptcy was attributed to financial difficulties stemming from increased competition and rising fuel prices. At the time of its collapse, DutchBird had a relatively small, but significant, presence in the Dutch leisure travel market. It left a gap in the market that was later filled by other charter airlines.
