Dayo Wong

Dayo Wong Tze-wah (黃子華, born September 5, 1960) is a Hong Kong stand-up comedian, actor, and singer. He is best known for his stand-up comedy shows (棟篤笑, dung duk siu) which often feature socio-political commentary, observations on Hong Kong culture, and witty wordplay.

Wong's career began in the entertainment industry as a screenwriter. However, he gained significant popularity in the 1990s with his stand-up performances, becoming a pioneer and influential figure in the genre in Hong Kong. His performances are characterized by his unique comedic style, intellectual humor, and ability to connect with audiences on a personal level.
