Christian People's Party (Estonia)

The Christian People's Party (Estonian: Kristlik Rahvapartei) was a minor political party in Estonia. The party advocated for Christian democratic principles and values. It was registered as a political party and participated in various Estonian elections, primarily in the late 1990s and early 2000s. However, it failed to achieve significant electoral success, never gaining representation in the Riigikogu (Estonian Parliament).

The party's platform typically focused on issues such as family values, Christian ethics in public life, and conservative social policies. It often sought to appeal to religiously conservative voters.

The Christian People's Party eventually merged with another political entity, the Estonian Christian Democrats (Erakond Eesti Kristlikud Demokraadid), in 2006 to form the Estonian Christian Democrats party (Erakond Eesti Kristlikud Demokraadid). This merger was intended to consolidate the Christian democratic movement in Estonia and increase its chances of electoral success.
