Jack Bannon (English actor)

Jack Bannon (born 24 March 1991) is an English actor, best known for his role as Alan "Taffy" Rider in the British television series Endeavour, a prequel to Inspector Morse.

Bannon was educated at Esher College and later trained at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2013.

His television credits include appearances in The Loch (2017), Clique (2017), Doctors (2016), Ripper Street (2016), The Third Day: Autumn (2020), and Shadow and Bone (2023). He also played the role of Sam Weir in the television series Twisted (2013).

In addition to television, Bannon has worked in theatre.

His portrayal of Taffy Rider in Endeavour, a role he held throughout the series' run, garnered him significant recognition.
