Jimmy McDonald (footballer, born 1883)
James "Jimmy" McDonald (born 1883, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played primarily as a right half.
McDonald began his senior career with Scottish club St Mirren. He played for the "Buddies" for several seasons before moving south to England.
In 1906, McDonald signed for Newcastle United, then a dominant force in English football.
