First Presbyterian Church (Washington, Pennsylvania)
The First Presbyterian Church of Washington, Pennsylvania, is a historic Presbyterian church located in Washington, Pennsylvania, United States. Founded in 1782, it is one of the oldest congregations in Washington County. The current church building, a Romanesque Revival structure, was dedicated in 1873.
The church played a significant role in the development of Washington and the surrounding region. Early ministers were influential in establishing Washington Academy, which later became Washington & Jefferson College.
